Hua Hin Railway Station is a major stop on the Southern Line of the State Railway of Thailand (SRT), about 220 km south of Bangkok. In December 2023, a brand-new three-storey elevated station opened just a few metres from the historic 1926 station building, taking over all ticketing and train services as part of the Southern Line double-track project. After 112 years in service, the original station — famous for its red-and-cream royal pavilion — has been preserved by the Fine Arts Department as a historic landmark, and it remains one of Hua Hin’s most photographed sights.
